KEITH GARNER, Lead Pastor

Keith is a graduate of Amarillo High School, Texas Tech University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Keith came as pastor to FBC Post on July 1, 2018. Previously, Keith served in collegiate ministry for over 20 years. Keith has been married to his wife Karen for 30 years and they have two adult children - Abigail and Michael, and his wife, Molly.

OUR DEACONS
DELBERT RUDD, Chairman

Delbert became a Christian when he was 15 and joined FBC Post in 1967. In 1986, he was ordained as a deacon at FBC Post. He has been married to his wife, Tonya, since June 9,1973.

LEE NORMAN

Lee has attended First Baptist Church his entire life except the few years he was away at school. He was saved at age 10 and has grown in the Lord since that time. Lee was ordained as a deacon in 1986. He has been married to his wife, Marsha, for 49 years. Together, they have four children and spouses that are Christians. They also have ten grandchildren and love their time with them.

DARRELL REECE

Darrell was raised going to church every time the doors were open, since his father was a Baptist pastor. His family moved to Post in the summer of 1973. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 16, and was ordained as a Deacon of First Baptist Post, July 12, 1998 at the age of 37. He has been married to his wife Raeline for over 25 years and they have two boys - Blaine and his wife, Lilli, and Jadin. They also have three grandchildren.

DAVID NORMAN

David was raised in FBC Post and accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 12 years old. He has been a cotton farmer for the last 10 years and serves in the community. David became a deacon on September 8, 2019. He was married to his beautiful wife, Brenda, in 2005. Together, they have three girls - Emily, Marley, and Paylan.

JEFF WILLIAMS

Jeff has been a believer since his teens and believes that his ministry is in cowboying. He and his wife, Jami, have been married since 1982, and together they have two daughters. Jeff loves his family - especially all 6 of his grandbabies, and is known throughout the area for his great work with training young horses and judging events at rodeos.

WENDELL JOHNSON

Wendell has been a member of First Baptist most of his life. While attending Vacation Bible School as a preteen, Wendell accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. However, Wendell feels like the Lord got his attention in 2004 and that's when he really became a Christian. Wendell was, then, ordained as a deacon in 2020. Wendell married his delightful wife, Cindy, in 1967, and together they raised their children - Michael, Tammy, and LaShae. They have since been blessed with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

GLENN NORMAN

Glenn has followed Christ since a young age. He married Mary Margaret in 1949 and they were married 70 years at the time of her passing in 2019. Glenn became a member of FBC Post in 1951 and has been a deacon for many years. Glenn and Mary Margaret have 4 children and he is Pawpaw to 18 grandchildren and over 30 great-grandchildren. Over the years, the two have spent an immeasurable amount of time praying over their family, friends, community, and country.
